Animated childrens TV series in department store!!

Many,many years ago there was a childrens TV programme based in a department store. Each floor/dept. was like a village., like furnitureville and haberdashers etc.Animated characters .They all eventually 'escaped' in the stores delivery van prior to the store closing down. I seem to remember it went out Sunday, late afternoon.Anyone give me a clue to it's title

Sounds like Terry Prachetts novel "Truckers"

Thanks :pagan: that's the right story, I had truckers in the back of my mind but didn't believe myself. Now I need to see if the TV adaptation has been archived. Thanks again
