I took and edited it.

The thing is, I can't remember what I did to it. I think I added a filter to my image.

Could anyone please help me and tell me what I did to my image.

Did you apply an 'outer glow' filter... (off the bottom of the Layers palette: a white 'f' in a black circle)...

Off the drop down menu at the top:

Window > Layers...
