We are hiring a car in Cyprus, any suggestions for places to visit. Can you recommend any good places to eat?      Thanks

A visit up the Troodos mountains is worth a day. Plus a day exploring the very western end of the island. Try to get to the north if you can as well.

The view point at the East of the island , overlooking the Turkish occupied resort of  Famagusta is worth a look and the visitor centre is interesting

If you're in Protaras check our "Rocks" restaurant and the Lamb Kleftico mmmmmmmmmm

Latchi beach is fabulous,It's North of Paphos although the beach is pebbley the water is warm unlike around Aphrodites Rock where the water was freezing.

If you like beaches , then try Konnas Bay , just outside Protaras , follow the signs for Mike's Water Sports .This is a great beach . To eat in Protaras , try Anatolia , it's a bit frantic but the food is good and you can have a three course meal for �6 , yes �6 , Anatolia is on the top road just past the  traffic lights (where the lower road meets the top road .).Also you could try Andama , I have eaten there a couple of times and always had a very good meal . Hope this helps .
