Does anybody recall watching Indoor Fireworks? I'm talking probably 25 years ago!! I was just interested in recapturing my youth at Christmas with the children. Any ideas who may still sell them? I've done a search on the internet but the ones they are talking about are professional indoor fireworks for shows. I'm talking about the ones that resembled dog's mess, a volcano erupting ash, a fern etc!

Oh yes they were hilarious things - didn't you get a box of them with your crackers sometimes?

There's a company called Hawkin's Bazaar who do lots of old fashioned novelties but I can't see any indoor fireworks.  However, if you gave them a call maybe they could help.....

I've bought indoor sparklers from Hawkins Bazaar before now, but don't think they sell any other kind.

I remember them fondly. We used to get quite a flat box with about 10 - 15 compartments. Things like a small snake appearing or a volcano erupting. Something tells me that they probably were made illegal because of the terrible fumes but I could be wrong. They were great though.
Hi, Yes I remember them fondly, and no, I can't find indoor fireworks either, we last had them about five years ago, when I found them in a pound shop - probably imported and probably not very good for you, if you find any let me know!
You can get them here -
