Probably for the same reason that footage of someone being hung has been viewed on YouTube by 2 and a half million people.

I agree with some of your comments northboy. I think there is a distinct lack of respect and no deterent for criminals and would be criminals these days. Ian Huntley for one would be top of my list for the death penalty.(But I wouldn't want to watch it) And bringing back punishment in school of some description, may help the 'yob culture' that we seem to be suffering from these days.
But the girl on the news was 13 and a rape victim. That surely isn't right in any religion, culture or country.

sp, I can't agree with you, You can't compare what happened to this young woman with Capital Punishment over here, if it came back, and similar has never happened over here when it was.
Somehow, I can't see the same thing happening here.

She was a 13 year old girl.
She had done nothing wrong.
To kill her was wrong on all levels.
How can any one condone it.
Yes Christians and the British legal system has done much the same in the past but we moved on. We came to the conclusion that the death pentalty didn't work. If it did people would stop killing eachother.
I don't know what the solution is but this inncident shows just how backwards the Islamic society can be. And they seem to think we should all be doing this.

Hi All

Just wanted to respond to Steve5 - I think I'm picking up your response correctly. If you look at my question there's nothing anti islam in it - I mentioned murdering scum because that's what the killers are. The poor girl in this case - whether 13 or 23 - was murdered and people who tried to intervene were shot at by the authorities in that area.
My daughter is a little older than 13, and I actually cried when I read about this child's suffering.

Also - if you think I'm a suitable candidate for missionary work you obviously never look in the Religion section (I'm a card carrying Pagan).

Horrific & Sadistic to a female child...the weaker of our species by armed men with faces covered, due to their cowardness.

Those men all have female relations. When will the women of that community fight back to protect their offspring? Not until those women take action will this stop.

Those men are drunk with lust, there is no defence for such butchery!
