I'm looking for a way to jazz up normal baked beans to go with some spicy sausages that i'm cooking for bonfire night.

Hot chilli sauce, the most suitable is Bone Suckin' Sauce from House of Fraser, horribly overpriced (�5-95) but brilliant. Also loads and loads of white pepper. Maybe some Lea and Perrins too.

Baked beans should never be boring, they should give you a lasting memory even if if means waking at 2am with intestinal gripes. I love beans!!!
grate some onion and srir it in also add some kidney beans and chillies
I put brown sauce or Lea and perrins in my beans, or cheese.

Going with the bonfire night theme you could put a firework in there? Ok bad idea (sorry I am a bit overtired) but how about BBQ sauce?

Marinade them in Absynthe first. Really. They go a bit green but the 'kick' is worth it.
Put some grated cheese and onion on top with some lea a perrins and then wack them under the grill

worcester sauce or tomato an onion relish is good. Daisy
Finely chopped fresh onion and chillies always works well in my kitchen department... A raft of grated mature cheddar (or even parmesan) is another solution to the *beans are boring* saga. Worcester sauce is good, as is some marmite but that's really for those *adapted* tastebuds who actually like those things !
some slices of chorizo and garlic sausage, a little onion pepper and herbes de provence. Delish!
i mean onion pepper - not onion and pepper!
Heat the beans. Fry sliced mushrooms and a little chopped onion until it is soft. Add it to the beans with a good splodge of Barbecue sauce, tomato puree and some chilli powder if you like it hot. Warm the beans for another 3 minutes or so and pour it over the sausages.

Cheese!!!!!!!!
