i bought a shower six weeks ago but the PRD
in the shower has gone it is under guarantee for 12 months my husband rang them up they said they would send him another PRD and he could fit it him self
he asked them could he change the shower for a 9.5 instead of the 8.5
which we was willing to pay the extra for we also asked where we bought it from they to said no could you please
answer i have not yet got the new part pat

What exactly is your question? Your post is actually more of a statement and quite difficult to understand without any punctuation.Could you possibly rephrase it so the people reading it know what sort of advice it is that you require?
Hazarding a guess at what you want to know:

Yes, they must replace the PRD (pressure reducing device?) - its under warranty.
No, they are not obliged to change the unit for a different one - especually as you've already fitted it. It is no longer new.
