Hi

not sure if we need to replace the glass in some of our windows. Move into the house a year ago, so am not sure how long the current windows have been in.

We have quite a bit of condensation and one bedroom in particluar feels very cold. Does theglass need replacing?

Hi Elsajo............if it's single glazing, then changing to double would help...but...it's likely you would have to change the windows to accommodate this.... not cheap!
If it's already double glazed, then the usual answer to condensation and cold is.................more ventilation and more heat.....................no need to go crazy........just enough :o)
A slight addition to The Builder's always good advice would be to determine if your windows are sweating just on the inside pane or if they're sweating between the panes. In the latter case, the windows would need replacing since the neutral gas (probably argon, although krypton is better) has broken through a seal and escaped rendering the double-glazing useless in insulating properties......
