My husband and I were in the process of divorce after 20 years of marriage. He died before this was complete. His will leaves nothing to me and our financial arrangements were not sorted before he died. I have a dependant child from our marriage. What happens now?

You consult a solicitor who specialises in wills and family law.
Assuming his estate is of some value you must have a solicitor to advise you. You may be able to apply to Court for some provision from his will - this means altering the disposal of his estate that he set out in the will.
you will need to make a claim for financial provision under the inheritance and provision for dependents act 1975. you only have a certain amount of time to do so (i think its 3 months from when they apply for probate so go asap to give your solicitor enough time to deal with such a claim
