I have just watched Jamies School Dinners. In it he makes a pasta sauce in which he hides a load of veg in it so the kids will eat them.  Does anyone have a recipie for a simular sauce.  Ta

Stir fry/steam any sliced veg, e.g. peppers, courgettes, sweetcorn, onion, leeks, brocolli, virtually anything you've got that you think the kids might eat.  When softened (but not stewed) put in a liquidiser along with a can of chopped tomatoes and some tomato puree.  Then you can add any kind of protein if you want, pepperoni, or tuna, or chicken or whatever.  They'll think it's a tomato and meat sauce and won't know the veggies are there - tee hee...
