Just to add to last night's point, it was -17 here this morning =o) My pal coming from further south said it was sub -20

Howzat!? =o)

Heh Steve, which part of Mnich are you from?  I live just to the south in Taufkirchen.

It was -19C yesterday night (and -17.9C walking to work at 7:20am) on my digital weather station (it's pretty accurate) and some people coming into work were saying it was -22C.  Today it was -15C.

I find it a weird sensation having the hairs up your nostrils freeze up! :)

I always thought the seasons revolved round the equinoxes and solstices.......approx the 22nd of March, June, September, and December,  in which case Winter doesn't become Spring for about another 16 days.

Does anyone else agree?
