tacho rest breaks

if i was to drive 4 ,3 hours have 30 mins rest .leave the tach set to rest and drive 4 ,5min then pull up and have another rest of about 20 mins would this be a legal rest period 4 the day,it is an automatic tacho

Not as far as i know as you have to rest after so many hours of driving so my guess its illegal and i would say its a good one. Take my advice dont do it and anyway you should know this if your driving a vechile that has a tacho.

it is not legal after driving for 4 and a half hrs u need at least 45min break
