Eastenders is just dreadful! Always has been. Who wants to watch such a miserable programme. Even with Corrie's recent bad patch, it was much better than EE.

Coronation Street is, & always has been, the best soap. Pathos, comedy, tragedy - they do it all excellently. Eastenders is too depressing and has never been a patch on Corrie.
