I am looking for bricklaying tutors who have recently taken the cert-ed, to pass on some help and guidence. I am just about to start my course, and I'm feeling a little intimidated. I will pass on my email address to anyone who can be of assistance. Thanks.

I'm not a tutor, nor am I a brickie, but I've been on a LOT of courses over the past 5 years. I remember the first night of night classes (it was my first class in university, and the first class I'd taken in 15 years) and it was like the first day at school when I was a kid - I was nervous as hell, and really doubted my ability to fit in with the crowd and keep up with the work.
Then I sat in the class, and within a few minutes realised that everyone else there felt exactly the same way.

Your tutors and your classmates/course colleagues will help you get through your course. Just try pick up the nerve to say hello when you have your first tea break - you'll be fine.
