More questions regarding formula feeding a baby.

My 13 wk old daughter throws up a lot, HV says possibly reflux, tried all sorts of things inc. different formulas but all SMA brand - SMA staydown, SMA gold and, currently SMA Wysoy, none of these have made any difference neither has changing feeding routines, positions, adding infant gaviscon etc

We're waiting for an appointment to see a paediatrician but in the mean time I'm considering changing formula brand - against the advice of GP and HV who both say a change will cause her an upset stomach, which they say she can't afford to have, but I think if she's not keeping it down anyway whats a upset tummy in the short term if it fixes the problem in the long run?!

Any advice/experiences?
Is it possible that baby just doesn't like SMA and might get on better with another eg. Cow & Gate?
Which brand is best or this individual to each baby?
If I do decide to do this should I just do a complete swap or introduce new brand slowly, swapping just one or two feeds a day initially gradually builing up?

thanks k8.x

hi k8 my nephew was throwing up alot as a bay, my sil took him to doctors but was never given any answers as to why, he was on sma gold. she was talking to a lady in a park one day and the lady suggested to changed milk.
she started him on cow and gate. he was sick for about a week then it all stopped. i think he was still sick for a week due to having his milk changed rather than not liking it though.

may be worth a try it wont do her any harm, she may have a runny nappy for few days due to change in milk but that will be worth it if it helps keep her milk down.

good luck
