If your partner is working and you have a baby you (as a family) should be entitled to Working Tax Credits or Working Families Tax Credits which is means tested. If you get a job would it cover the cost of childcare? Seek treatment for your illness and seek financial advice from the Citizen Advice Beauro who may help you with applications.
