does anyone have a rough idea of a monthly or yearly cost of keeping a chiuaua?
how much to vaccinations cost, and how much money is spent on food?

Vaccinations cost the same no matter what breed, around �30 for the basic shot depending on where you are.

There was an article in the Daily Mail earlier this year:

which cited around �6000 per year for food, insurance, kennels (although what the people they asked are feeding their dogs I have no idea!)

Chihuahuas eat less than bigger breeds so I can imagine their food bill would be less, and because of their size medications should be cheaper too.
