Welcome mail

It would be useful to explain to joiners when & how the "welcome mail" wil be received (e.g. soon after joining? normal email on website? etc.). I have not received one yet although the site is constantly telling me that I cannot post a Q or A until I have clicked on a link within it.

Just a thought....I received my welcome mail to my hotmail addy within a couple of minutes....however the mails telling me I had answers to my questions were automatically directed to my junk mail box - even though they came from the same [email protected] address!! I've had to tell Hotmail that it's not junk and add the address to my Safe List. So it might be worth checking your junk mail box if you're using a similar system.
And like In A Pickle, I'm intrigued as to how you managed to post the question!
