You can use Unleaded but use a 1/4 to a full tank 1/2 to a full tank untill 3/4 to a full tank, I doubt if you will have any problems
This link explains about unleaded-leaded.

Damage can be caused to the valves and valve seats as unleaded engines have up rated ones.

If you use the car sensibly, with no hard driving it should be Ok.

A mini specialist could convert your engine to run on unleaded safely.
Forgot to say you can get an additive, might be safer to use one.
ultimately you will have to ve the head converted if you want to keep the car for any length of time but i would just use unleaded and see how it goes, if the valves burn out you will need a unleaded head anyway so run it till it needs it.
jaydj it is still possible to get leaded petrol, although the garages that have it are few and far between.i think they have to have a special licence or something like that. the closest one to me ( walsall ) is approx 4 miles away.
