For the last hour or so, my wee thug has been following another little critter around the lounge.... I thought it was a fly and could not work out why wee thug had not caught and eaten it.... until I had a peek at said critter... turned out to be a large, nasty wasp... no wonder wee thug was being careful ! I am so impressed with her for not pouncing on it (and receiving a nasty sting)..... she did carefully monitor its movements and kept looking at me as if to say, ok, luv.. over to you now... but I had not realised what she meant... Anyway, nasty wasp is now outside the house.... Wee Thug and Big Thug (who was totally useless whilst this was all happening lol) and me are off to our beds soon... I just wanted to tell you all about my brave little gal !

Hehe.. Rosetta - that is exactly what I thought when I realised that the *fly* (lol) was actually a wasp..... clever gal eh ?
Grumpy cat (oriental) caught a wasp as a baby & had a paw like a boxing glove until the vinegar kicked in! But both Grumpy & Commando Kit (bengal) have little regard for stinging things & Commando left a lovely neat pile of spider legs at the top of the stairs this morning! Yum,yum!
When my old cat, George, was alive I remember waking up once morning to find him lying by my pillow crunching a couple of spiders. He must have caught them and lugged them to my/our bed and then had a breakfast snack.

What a noise - crunch, crunch, crunch....

My two are too busy trying to kill each other to worry about beasties. :-) However Frankie is always the loser and his lovely sister, Merlin, wins paws down. One up for us girls!

LOL... Neither of the thugs have managed to catch spiders yet....
My cat bought a dead baby rabbit back to my house on time, dumped it by my feet and sat there looking at me.

Oh dear tops..... did they finish it off for dinner or did you have to get rid of it ?
Cats!!!!! or should that be d@mned cats. We are in a " face off" situation ( no idea if that 's the right phrase) with our cat at the moment . Will post the question tomorrow but they are complex little critters but don't you just love them?
My dearly departed cat was a rabbit killer also brought a dead weasel on the door step. I have two kittens who love tin foil and paper balls as their catch.
All Caspar has to chase is fruit flies!!...not the biggest quarry!
Question Author
Not the largest, no, Pastafreak but certainly cunning ! (Have you ever tried to catch a fruit fly ? .....nearly impossible hehe)
