Can anyone help me out with the song at the end, its called Hallelujah?

Its been in several things - Fanrenheit 9/11, West Wing, The OC, Without a Trace, Shrek, various versions around (checked the song on Allmusic, and its the correct song, penned by Leonard Cohen)

But I am sure I heard it very recently and they are all old episodes or ones I haven't seen - and its ages since I watched Shrek too

Thanks for the info, I had found that out though.

What I was trying to find out is if anyone knew what other programme it had been in very recently, as I heard it in something else only a couple of weeks ago and cannot remember what, but none of the programmes in my OP cos I haven't seen them.
It was by Jeff Buckley from the album, Grace. It was originally written by Leonard Cohen.

The version in Shrek wasn't the Jeff Buckley one by the way.
Hallelujah was sung at the end of an episode of Holby City recently (around Christmas time) by Sharon D.Clarke who plays Lola, dunno if that's what you're meaning

Thanks, but I haven't seen Holby City in ages either!

The only thing I am fairly sure of is that it was a sad scene, cos the song makes me sad remembering it!

I have the shrek soundtrack and the shrek version is sang by Rufus Wainwright. Absolutley love this song!!! hope this helps
