This is probably the dumbest question ever, but computers are not my friend!

I'm trying to download some content for my Sims game from a site called ModTheSims2, my membership lapsed, so i had to re-register, but had no trouble downloading from there before. Now when i try to download something it says that i need to allow "modthesims2.com" in my security software for cookies. How do i do this? since i last downloaded we changed our security provider from Norton to Mcafee.

TIA!!!
