Belt replacement on Miele tumble dryer

I need to replace the drive belt on a Miele Novotronic T230C tumble dryer. The belt is visible when the top of the machine is removed but I cannot find a way of gaining full access to the drum in order to slip a new belt on. Could anybody advise please? Thank you.

The last time I changed a belt on a tumble drier I had to take the back totally off so the front of the drum comes away from the front opening and then slide the belt over the drum....
