Can't get into Facebook or You tube

All of a sudden, I cannot get into You tube. When I try selecting a clip, it comes up with ' Java script turned off or old version of adobes flash player, get the lastest version now' So I clip on Adobe and I press agree and install now but nothing happens. I'm not sure where the java script is located - can anyone help as I cant do facebook either.

sorry to sound a thick o, what do you mean by reboot. This has been happening for days and I switch the PC on and off at night

Fish - it often helps to switch off and then remove and replace power plug from the wall. Boot up and usually that sorts the problem.
