We're going to Lanzarote on Sunday and can't decide whether to get our Euro's here or change abroad?

Don't want to get cash out of the machines over there as you never know what rate you're getting til you get home.

Has anyone done this before?

Even though you won't know what the rate is from an ATM, it will be better than getting cash here from most providers.

If you hunt around in Lanzarote you may get a better rate than here - but don't assume everywhere will be better. Rates vary.
