Just watching an old episode and am thinking it is slightly odd that Hannibal always wear black leather gloves, even in the scorching heat.

Fair enough in a fight or assisting BA with his mechanical mischief, I can understand. But why all the time??

It annoys me.

Does anybody else find this a strange thing to do?

George was getting on a bit by then...maybe he had grey hair on his hands!! Still v cool and hunky though not as gorgeous as In Breakfast at Tiffanys (sighs)
i could never understand why all those explosions and millions of bullets never killed anyone i cant even remember an injury
he had to find some way to use the time in the ad breaks... He wore those thick gloves so it always felt like someone else was doing it.
does that actually work?lol!
I remember Tony Curtis in that series with Roger Moore ... I think it was "The Persuaders" ... he always wore black leather gloves too. Don't ask me why!
