could someone please tell me what F.A.B. in thunderbirds mean, they normally say it to eachother.

It meant nothing. the word FAB was trendy at the time and that's all there is to it. However, in Captain Scarlet, the phrase S.I.G. did mean something - Spectrum is Green.

they didnt say fab they used it in this scenerio " virgil f...a...b " they didnt say fab, the said the letters seperatly. Maybe ur right i just assumed it meant something cos they said the letters seperately. Thanx.

Yes, I know they didn't say Fab - I was just pointing out that the word fab was trendy at the time it was made, swinging sixties and all that, and it was a sort of homage or reference to those times. There is no probably right about it, as you are talking to a Thunderbirds fan from way back then and it is definite - F.A.B. meant nothing.

The creators of Thunderbirds, Gerry and Silvia Anderson have said on many occations that they never had a meaning for the initials other than it meant affirmative.

I'm sure in the world of Thunderbirds it meant something, but it was never answered in any script.

As Postdog says at the top, the letters were picked as the word was trendy at the time.
