I have microsoft xp office and want to make a copy as a back up for personal use. I use Windows XP pro, and have put a blank cd into the rewriter and the office cd into the cd rom, but cannot get windows media player to copy it. The list of files on the office cd show up and will drag but not drop into the player/burner. I've also tried burn4free software, but although all the files do drag and drop it comes up with error. Anyone got any ideas what's wrong?

Thanks in advance

Thats coz its not a media disk (ie, not music or video). Its a data disk. Thats why windows MEDIA play wont like it. Use the latest nero. Another way to do it is to copy all the files to a the hard disk in a folder. Then, in the folder, highlight them all then Send To [your cd drive]

dont forget to turn on show hidden files in windows explorer if you are using the above method
