What do you do with your old Xmas cards? cut them up for Next years gift tags? Do WH Smiths or Boots still collect them to re-cycle? or do you just put them in the paper bin?

Tesco and WHSmiths are collecting them for Woodland Trust

I make mine into next years gift tags, are the leftovers go for recycling with the cardboard.

Recycle!!
tear them in half and write our shopping lists on!
You mean you do'nt save them and re-read them often, fondly dabbing your eyes with a hankie!?

I have saved the front part, if the back side is clear, and used it for Christmas postcards and party invitations as well as gift tags.

Childrens groups sometimes have use for them for craft projects --ask a school or scouting organization or day care.

As for the family photos that accompany them, my friend keeps them filed alphabetically in a shoe box so she can compare the latest to past ones and marvel at how fast little Mavis and Jackie are growing.
