Do foxes attack cats? I've seen one lately a BIG one running along on tip toe in the middle of the night right in the middle of the road.

SKA. there's a site called www.angelfire.com which you can put fox sounds in the search bit, they've got a lot of different sounds that foxes make.
P.S. I saw the first of the cubs last night, cute little things!
Hi! What a lovely read. Many years ago (too many to remember )I adopted a little fox cub - it had been abandoned and so it became part of our lives. In those days you did what you could to help. I have many fond memories of that little fox! :o)
Oh dear, that didn't sound quite right!! What I meant to say was there were not so many wildlife centres that you could take the animals to - im talking 45+ years ago. Anyway, the little critter was happy. And I was happy to be its companion. :o)
I've had a fox and a cat in my garden together; they look at each other a bit warily but that's all. I hate the foxes - use my lawn as a toilet (they aren't tidy like cats), so you don't want them around where kids play; plus they pulled a drainpipe off my house to get at the water. They can certainly jump and climb like cats, though perhaps not so high up in trees.
What happened to the little fox Alfieblue ?
Hi gelda! Trying to think back all those years ......... little fox stayed with us sometime, mum and dad had quite a big garden and (lol) kept chickens!!!!

Foxy would not go near them tho - thank goodness!!!

He stayed with us for quite some time and then, when mum, dad, myself and family moved from the area, foxy was adopted by good friends who owned a small holding. He was no threat to any of the livestock and lived on happily!

I suppose because he was adopted so young, he had the traits of a dog/cat and loved human company!!!

Thinking about him again, I guess he didn't realise he was a fox! It would have been impossible to release him because he would not have survived. It's a lot different now with all the wildlife centres to help and give advice.

He seemed quite content and happy.

He was another colourful and much loved character in a chapter of my life!!:o)

Oh! I have just found the pictures which is amazing because I am not very good at this sort of thing. Still learning!!!

Wonderful pictures - absolutely charming. :o)
so glad ska has pointed us all in the right direction rather than my long journey via the north pole as these pics have to be shared. i like you alfieblue are still learning, my typings getting quicker but my spelling is not so hot sometimes...xx
Oh yes! In my younger days I used to be quite good at spelling but ...... with the introduction of mobile phones - well, lets say im learning the text words!! Am still trying to get to grips with my 'brick', in fact still trying to get to grips with all technology!!!!

My kids (well they are adults now) try to show me - but often it goes in one ear and out the other!!!

Lol! - Im up for it tho and try my best! The kids bought me a digi camera not so long ago cos they decided that my old faithful point and press the button camera was a touch out of date!!!

Still reading the instructions on that!!!

It's trial and error at the mo with me - but where there's a will there's a way!!!! :o)
