I'm trying to find the title of a TV movie I caught late one night on ITV in the late 80's. It was filmed in a cinema verite style and used different types and grades of video medium to convey the look of a live on the spot broadcast. It concerned a Live TV film crew investigating the takeover of a boat by some terrorists who threatened to explode a Nuke. The film was chillingly realistic and the culmination was quite shocking. Does anyone else remember it as I can find no trace of it?

Crispy i was in the same boat for ages until i remembered that one of the guys from St. Elsewhere starred in it so after a couple of hours surfing i came up with this. "Special Bulletin" from 1983 starring Ed Flanders and Christopher Allport amongst others. It was overshadowed by the film "The day after" which was similar and came out at the same time.
I remember this too. I can't recall the title although I do remember the actor who played the father in the Micheal J Fox series"Family Ties" was a terrorist was in it.They repeated this formula again in a subsequent film about alien invasion.
