Ok everyone, I need help. Wife and son informed me that I am to find somewhere to go for the day this Sunday (4th May). I looked on the Interweb for ideas at Race Tracks, Air Museums, London Museums but nothing grabbed me.
Try a visit to Chartwell in Kent, Churchill's home. Stand on the terrace, gaze over the beautiful Weald, and try to visualise and hear the dogfights overhead.
(If you are being booted on your own out I'd go to town and look at guitars and bookshops).
How about a 'Walking Tour' of Greenwich, well worth it,
You hire a guide at the College close to the 'Cutty Sark', which unfortunately, is still closed.
Get on the train or bus ..and down to
Brighton ..loads of things to do ..shops
are ace ..try the Lanes .. also the culture..
loads of art venues ..something for every
one ..also ice cream cones on the pier !!
Enjoy your day ..what ever you do and hope
the weather is good !!
