Ethel, I can confirm that my Works documents end in .wps - I opened up Word but there was a heck of a lot of types etc...should I look for anything in particular? Ta Muchly.

Click File/Open
Click the dropdown arrow next to "Files of Type"
Amazingly, if you scroll down the list you will find at the bottom: "Works 6.0 - 9.0 (*.wps)"

As jno says, if you wish to add a question or answer to your original post, the best way to do it is to go to the original post and post a reply. Otherwise your single question ends up pushing a number of questions from other people off the front page, which is not very polite :-)

If you can't see Works 2000, try Works 6 and see if that works.

If that doesn't, you will have to download a file. We'll sort it out if necessary
