man i cant belive how far the bus go. the last time i got on one must have been 20 years ago. i got on one 2day and said can i have a return 2 the city center please. the driver said whitch one this coach goes from southampton 2 edinbough.

When I lived in Edmonton many years ago ..I used to take the tube from Wood Green or Turnpike Lane to High Holborn... Not fond memories ....

Not to make light of your plight, fellow ABers, but this was the only thing I could think of. Didn't know soot came into the Tube, though.
I think we have the worst transport system ever.

I worked in Munich and the difference!

Clean, regular and cheap transport!!

Also I remember the Paris Metro being good!

i cant belive most of u got horror stories about public transport they charge a small fourtune and treat us like cattle. up the 4 wheel drive i say

I used to go to Munich a lot in 1998/1999. Did about 20 trips. Used to work for Compaq and go to Dornach (Spelling).

I had some great times in Munich ...but it used to be shut on Sundays
I was there in the 80's, lovely city though.

I worked for the RAF and was based on camp!
