Depends on how serious the different offence was?
Question Author
well my boyfriend orginally got the suspended sentance for drink driving on a ban and then he was arrested for coomman assault and charged yesterday will he go to prison?
Course not. He will be allowed to stay out until he commits a more serious crime. Thats the way modern England and the courts prefer it.

what can happen is you will serve the rest of your sentence in jail and also serve the sentence for your new offence, you wil also not be likely to get a suspended sentence again, if it is petty then you may get a serious warning and then if you persist at petty ofences on a suspended sentence then they will go hard on you. my advice - do not re offend, they gave u a life line so respect that, at least you didnt go prison 1st time
