To the naked eye they look pretty plausible. On the inside there's a car crash going on.

I mean on the inside leg about the car crash. I'm too embarrassed to take them to a dry cleaners to sort them out. I hope they don't flap up for any reason.
lol beads! Ive been there!! in the end I sent them in to be done!! it only cost a few quid as well!
I used to take up trousers at my uncles Dry Cleaners many moons ago. Send them to me and I'll do them for free;-)
tee hee

u think that's bad mum still send's me 2 work in short trourses not bad 4. 47 ha lol
Beads,

I'm sure it will be fine, unless of course people look on the inside of your trousers often?

The thicker the hems the easier to sew.

I can do the invisible sewing I just hate doing it, so pretend I can't lol

Thanks all :) by my work it costs about 15 to have them taken up. Beautiful - That's a lancome juicy tube or a nice mascara. Anyhoo, usually I would go straight there but forgot about them until tonight. I need them for tomorrow and was like 'gggrrrrr' when I returned home and saw them smirking at me. The thing is they were too long to turn up any more so I had to do the cut a bit off then turn up. I am going to wear them tomorrow and pray it's not windy and then get them done properly so they have the nice normal kind of a hem. Luckily I didn't cut too much off the bottom - they'll have a right laugh at the dry cleaners when I rock up!
Was it not possible just to buy some iron-on webbing that in effect glues the trouser hem, thus avoiding the unnecessary usage of haberdashery skills?
Ha, ha, ha! Reminds me of the time the hems of my husband's suit trouser legs had come undone! We were going to a wedding, so I cheated & used wonder web. I then pressed them nicely & put them back on the hanger.

When we got to my sister's house to get changed, his feet just wouldn't go through the bottoms as they'd both stuck together! We couldn't stop laughing & even when the service was going on we all sniggered thinking about it! :o}
P.S. At another wedding & inside the Church, I looked down & noticed (shock horror), that my husband had his brown mocassin slippers on! When I asked him why, he said he'd forgotten to pack his new black leather shoes & it had been too late to go back for them! Everyone thought it was hilarious though!
