I have a Zanussi free standing oven. The main fan oven has a double layer glass door and the inner door has fallen out but is still intact. Help, I have an enormous joint of beef to roast for friends and family tomorrow. It looks as though the door should be glued in place as there are no obvious fixings. Anybody got any idea what would solve the problem quickly?

How about a few dabs of gungum exhaust repairer as a glue. I should leave the oven turned on low for a while to set it without the meat in case of any fumes. Might be a daft idea but hey.

Thank you Roger9. I tried the gungum and it worked for long enough to get the joint cooked and the spuds but the door fell out just as I was about to put the yorkshire puds in. They didn't rise very high but I don't think anyone noticed. Thank you for saving the day. I'm going to ring Zanussi today.
