sky remote problem...

Hi ive got original sky digibox and the remote with it is pretty shagged so a friend donated his spare sky+ remote to use on my box. However it does not seem to recognise it... Is there something i have to do to coordinate the remote with the box or are they flat out incompatible? Cheers guys!

To control SKY digibox with a SKY+ remote control it must programmed with this sequence:

TV
Hold Yellow+Select until LED flashes twice
0
Select
Sky

To revert back, enter this sequence again but press the "1" button instead of "0".
