According to Radio 1 today,Thai women are using their kitchen knives for more than cookery.......they are useful tools for exacting revenge-lol The idea is to dismember, not kill. Would any of you ladies consider this method???

Lime breaths if I am not mistaken

I think I already have one of those stored in the memorybank somewhere.....no views of the OTHER leg????
Yes. At the risk of being a plaster bore, sand and cement, which our house has in abundance, traps water behind it if you have damp. Conventional plaster, which most people use on old solid walled property when they shouldn't, absorbs moisture, even taking it out of bricks. This ruins the plaster and doesn't do much for the bricks.

Not many plasterers work in lime. We will give it a go, but the company we are likely to have do some damp work will quote to redo the cured area in lime anyway. But we have other areas which need doing in lime.

It is fascinating stuff lime. It actually 'heals' itself if cracked.

Great minds,Icey.......Rabbity-I realy envy you...I always wished I could take on a house that needed restoration.....seeing the changes must be gratifying.
It CAN be great pasta - but not if the bloody place's listed. Then it's a nightmare, because you can hardly do any work at all!
I'm loving the changes. Heating, running hot water. But it is always slower than you'd like.

Gotta go. Nite pasta and all. Mr Rabbity has done my wheatie bag, got in bed and turned the light out on me. xx

In a previous job, I worked with a woman who was so quiet, and it was hard work to ever get any conversation out of her. My now best mate started working there, and livened the place up, but not this quiet woman. We'd just about given up on her, when one day she blurted out that she'd stabbed her ex boyfriend with a kitchen knife. We all (including her) laughed about it. Before anyone gets worked up - we weren't laughing at the man being hurt, it was more her suddenly talking and saying something like that. I didn't think she'd be capable of such violence.
