Lemons and red onions

This question has two parts. Part 1 - how long does a fresh, whole lemon keep in the fridge for? Part two - how long does a red onion keep in the fridge for? Thanks in advance for any answers.

i keep both in the fridge for weeks, and the onion keeps for months

I can't understand why you wish to keep onions in a fridge. They'll keep a very long time in a dry cupboard..........Ron
