If you're paid monthly, like I am, you might not be aware you're working for free today. If you look at your wage slip, you're not paid for today because it's basically a day that doesn't normally exist in the normal calendar. What a swindle!

do you have to pay money back on the years when there may be less working days? If i do then i might complain.

Not really a swindle. Most days have 30 or 31days so in fact they are letting you off with at least 1 day.

Based on the pennies I'm paid, I practically work for free everyday!! Not that I do much work.
