my wife and soon me have returned to the uk as we have lived abroad for 2 years, the wife signed on 3 weeks ago for job seekers allowance and has since been refused help we are both born and bred in london, can some one tell me why she and possibly me have been turned down and what the new law on this subject is all about

They should have told her in the letter why they refused her application, she should contact her job centre again & ask to make an appointment to discuss the decision that has been made with someone
