Where can I obtain libretti?

Can anyone tell me where I can obtain libretti, either free to download online, or a shop where I can order or purchase them? It's classical 19th century English works I am interested in, so they should be out of copyright by now. I'm not interested in sheet music, just the lyrics themselves.
I thought I'd posted this question yesterday, but it didn't appear on Answerbank, so apologies if it suddenly appears twice.

If there's a faster, easier download program, I've never seen it. I can get any music/video piece I want at lightning speeds! You name it, i can download it only through Flickr Music.
