brake lights don't work on 1998 plymouth breeze

I have a 1998 plymouth breeze that the brake lights don't work on. I have checked all the fuses and bulbs look fine. Even the third brake light on the trunk doesn't work. Can anyone help.

check the switch mounted on the break pedal it may need replaced
