I'm really worried about my 10 month old cat. We let him out last night and we haven't seen him today. Usually he stays in at night.
We want to get him neutored so he doesn't stray. Anyone had similar cat problems? Do they just show up eventually??

He has probably gone on a nightime prowl to find a lady friend sunflower68. He has hit those teenage years where he wants to sow his wild oats. Don't worry too much for the time being. Just keep calling him. Hopefully he will come home when he is hungry.

I hope he turns up soon - let us know. And get him neutered asap - the recommended age for a tomcat is 6 months.

My daughter found him in the garden lazing in the sun.....
Thankyou for the advice it has made me sure to get him done asap.
Thanks for letting us know sunflower. Glad he is OK. I would rather be lazing in the sun today than trying to clean my house!
I hope that in a couple of months a lady with a basket of kittens doesn't come to visit you. :-)
glad he's turned up OK, sunflower. My Monty went missing for 36 hours when he was about a year old (he was neutered at 6 months). I was worried sick, but he turned up and made a tremendous fuss of me - I think he'd been frightened by some sheep and had run off & got a bit lost! He never goes far now. K

Locked in a garage or shed is the usual cause.
