Will try to explain briefly - my boyrfriend's work relocated to offices about 10 miles away, all staff have to pay own travel costs to the new place but their pay rises were supposed to cover it (althouh didn't, so they have effectively had a pay cut).

Anyway they didn't receive their pay rises in Jan as per their contract. They all complained and were told they'd get it in Feb. The amounts may be small but I find this absolutely disgusting, you'd think they could make a bacs payment or something. The people don't earn that much and probably really need the pay rise to pay for their travel.

I was wondering if anyone knew if he had a right not to work until they pay them or anything? I looked on the directgov website but it just says he has a right to be paid in full and to go to an employment tribunal, I'm looking for an immediate resolution - if they all refused to go in then hopefully they'd have to pay them!

What do people think? Does anyone know what their rights are?

Many thanks :-)
