!...try having a bath with one and see for yourself perhaps?

In what? I think they would in space, but not sure if they would in a bath or maybe a pint. Strange question, what made you ask?
'Pork farms' pork pies actually have air pumped into the pastry after its been baked using the same technology used in hovercrafts. This allows the pork pie to float in water (saline or fresh) for approx 2 hrs. Apparantly one of the former heads at 'Pork Farms' loved fishing and was dismayed when on more than one occasion he dropped his pork pie into the water and it sank, thus alot of money and time was spent creating the 'perfect floating pork pies' we enjoy today!
You can try throwing a pork pie into a duck pond. If it sinks, that's OK. But if it floats it's a witch and must be burned.
She turned me into a newt!!
