Since yesterday morning I have been having trouble downloading Torrent Files. I normally use Bitorrent and all download speeds have been zero, no matter which files I download and from which trackers. I downloaded Bitcomet to see if it may have been a client problem but the same happens with this too. The download arrows are also always RED. My firewall is 100% allowing all traffic from these clients to work. I also have ports open to allow traffic. I would just like tyo ask if anyone else downloading torrents is having the same problem? Many Thanks. DAZ.

Who is your isp?
Lots of them restrict p2p if you have been downloading a lot even on so called unlimited.
I am with aol and they seem to cut me to virtually nothing until 12 at night until 8am.
They don't even let you know when they do it,so have you tried downloading late at night?

Hi. I am on Tiscali Unlimited ISP. My downloads are the same day or night. Also I am on 8mb Broadband and the best ive ever got is 4mb, although its nearly always 1mb or less!! My torrent downloads were fine until a couple of days ago and ive done everything possible to correct it but nothing has worked.
1. Try turning off your firewall and any realtime anti spyware progs for a bit just to see if it makes a difference.
2.Try to download a different torrent and from a different site as some can be stubborn to start.
3.try downloading peerguardian which will hide your ip address from your isp so they can't block you on p2p networks.(xp only at the mo).
