whats going on with my lights

i only seem to get main beam in one headlight at a time(!) changed the bulb in driver side and now other side has gone. also, front fog lights come on with main beam and one brake light is permanently on when lights are on. finally, when lights are off and i apply my brake, all the interior lights come on!!! what is wrong and will it be costly to fix. the car is only worth about 250 and mot due in next couple of weeks.
