I remember a song from the 60s or 70s but have forgotten the title and words. The chorus is something like this: I will fly a white paper kite in your heaven, if there are no stars, if there are no stars.in letters of gold on a snow white kite, I will write I love you.

It is something like that. The group was a one hit wonder with this.
